Why we are not a 501-c3

The Crimson Thread is a ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel from the perspective that the entire Word of God, especially the Torah, is applicable to all of humanity. As such, we would fall under the IRS code in the same way as any other church or ministry.

We also believe that the Gospel has practical political implications and that it is our obligation to speak out on political matters when a natural reading of Scripture leds us to do so. We believe that registering the ministry with the government might color our views or change the way we say things. For this reason, we have chosen not to register as a 501c3 entity.
